Most people have experienced a food craving that feels urgent — even emergent — but one Fort Worth-area man took this feeling very literally. The Dallas Morning News reports that 24-year-old My Nguyen was arrested in the wee hours of Sunday morning after he stole an unattended CareFlite ambulance from Baylor University Medical Center and drove it to a nearby Jack in the Box restaurant.

According to Fox 4, the ambulance was reported as missing around 3 a.m. and recovered 30 minutes later in a parking lot near the Jack in the Box at Washington and Live Oak. When asked by police why he took the emergency vehicle, Nguyen allegedly said that "he was hungry." Nguyen is being charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. While people have been known to snatch delivery vehicles and break into restaurants to make themselves a burger, this might be one of the rare occasions when someone has actually though to combined the two.
