WEST DALLAS – Dallas restaurateur Kay Agnew has announced plans to shutter her Cajun-Creole Bridge Bistro for the month of August. Over the next month, Agnew plans to add a patio that will overlook the bistro’s namesake Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, an updated interior, and "a few surprises." Stay tuned? [SideDish]

EAST DALLAS – Filling a void left by East Dallas culinary legend Tom "Spiceman" Spicer, The Stock Exchange is now officially slinging fresh produce and other staples inside Garden Cafe. Owner Mark Wootton tells CultureMap that the new market will go inside the former photography studio next to Garden Cafe and sell "general store" wares like jams, olive oils, honey, and the like. [CultureMap Dallas]
