For nearly two decades, Tillman’s Roadhouse hasn’t seen a whole lot of change. Now, though, it’s about to undergo a massive makeover as new owners plan to take over one of the Bishop Arts District’s shiniest hidden gems.

Announced via release, Tillman’s Roadhouse changed hands on Tuesday as co-owners Sara Tillman (wife of original Tillman’s Corner owner Ricky Tillman) and Todd Fiscus quietly sold the restaurant to Jeffrey Kollinger and his brother Ross Kollinger. The duo currently run Innovative Hospitality Group and a catering company called The Spice of Life.

In addition to new owners, Tillman’s has also hired Michael Morabito to serve as executive chef. Before taking over at Tillman’s, Morabito has worked with Dean Fearing at The Mansion on Turtle Creek and studied with Arnauld Briand in Lyon, France. Morabito will gradually update the menu throughout the restaurant’s transition phase, though new brunch offerings have already been added.

Over the next two months, Tillman’s will revamp the restaurant and its menu. A grand re-opening to celebrate the "complete relaunch" is planned for mid-Fall.
