Drive-thrus have increasingly become a volatile place for fast-food employees to work. Perhaps you remember the story earlier this year of a Florida man who threw an actual alligator through a Wendy’s drive-thru window, or the McDonald’s customer in Utah who pulled a gun after a drive-thru employee screwed up his order.
At a Denton Braum’s over the weekend, one customer felt similar angst when an employee manning the drive-thru forgot to include essential honey mustard dipping sauce. According to the Denton Record Chronicle, police were called to the Braum’s at 2900 W. University Drive on Sunday morning around 11 a.m. in response to a call from a female employee.
According to the employee, an unidentified couple at the drive-thru window became irate when they did not receive honey mustard with their order. The employee alleged that the man in the vehicle then punched her in the face before driving off. When police arrived, the couple was nowhere to be found.
No word yet on whether or not the perpetrators of the dipping sauce-inspired assault will face justice for their crimes.
