The Halal Guys Is Already Plotting Its Second DFW Location

Richardson, you’re on deck.

The Halal Guys
Gyros, wraps, and platters are headed to Richardson.

The arrival of The Halal Guys has, by all accounts, been well-received by Dallasites. When the NYC-based chain opened its doors last month, diners happily stood in 100+ degree heat for more than two hours to wait for their platters of chicken and rice. Now, The Halal Guys is headed to the ‘burbs.

CultureMap Dallas reports that The Halal Guys will open their second DFW outpost at the new Richardson Restaurant Park planned near the intersection of Belt Line Road and Highway 75. There, it will join VertsKebap and Rock Wood Fired Kitchen.

It would appear that this is just the beginning of The Halal Guys’ Texas takeover. Back in November, a franchisee inked a deal to open 10 locations of the chain throughout DFW, along with establishing a bigger footprint in Houston.

No opening date has yet been set for The Halal Guys’ arrival in Richardson. In the meantime, you’ll just have to keep enduring those lines at the Lemmon Ave location.
