It’s been a big summer for Uptown restaurant openings, and that’s only if you include the impending arrival of Shake Shack. Come fall, though, a decidedly healthier option will land just a short walk away.
Announced via release, Green House Market will open its second outpost at Rosewood Court, the office tower located at 2101 Cedar Springs. The “modern farm-to-table” concept got its start as a food truck in 2009 before opening inside NorthPark Center in 2013. The newest location will occupy a 5,000 square-foot space on Rosewood Court’s ground floor, formerly occupied by a Paradise Bakery.
Executive Chef Ben Hutchison will be in charge of the menu, which will feature salads, soups, and the spot’s brown rice bowls. In addition to fresh juices and Stumptown coffee, the new spot will also offer a “curated” bar with beer, wine, and cocktails.
Look for the new outpost to be a bigger and better version of the spot’s NorthPark location. “We are excited to be entering and servicing the Uptown area with a first-class location and partner in Rosewood,” said Green House Market owner Michael Siegel in a statement. “It is a fantastic opportunity to expand Green House Market’s menu, pastry and beverage program. We’re cooking some exciting plans.”
Paradise Bakery will close later this month to make way for Green House Market, which is set to debut later this fall.
