Emporium Pies Is Now Open In Deep Ellum

Back in March, Eater learned that beloved sweets purveyor Emporium Pies had set its sights on Deep Ellum. Back then, the popular pie shop anticipated an opening “just in time for Thanksgiving,” but now it appears as if the third Emporium Pies has officially made its debut.

The Dallas Observer reports that Emporium Pies has opened up its doors at 2708 Main, right next door to Pecan Lodge. Which means that you’ll have to figure out how to save room after eating all that brisket and mac & cheese for a hefty slice of Smooth Operator (chocolate silk pie) or Lord of the Pies (apple).

As should have been expected, the spot was already drawing lines despite the lack of signage or a formal opening announcement. Where there is pie, the people will come. Eater has reached out to Emporium Pies for more details on its hours of operation — stay tuned for updates.
