The burgeoning Harwood District has a brand new dining option starting tonight as Dolce Riviera plans to open its doors.

CultureMap Dallas reports that the brand new concept at 2950 Harwood will quietly kick open the doors this evening. The restaurant, as its name might imply, will serve authentic Italian cuisine in an atmosphere inspired by Italy’s Cote d’Azur.

The kitchen will be helmed by Chef Christian Sbordi, who learned the ropes at culinary school in Italy before earning a Michelin star at Fiamma Osteria in New York City. As far as the menu is concerned, look forward to housemade pastas and other classic Italian faves.

If you’re in need of a serious pasta fix, there are “limited” reservations available on OpenTable starting at 6:15. You may want to snag a table quickly, though, as it appears tables are filling up fast.
