When The Halal Guys opened their first Dallas outpost last year, the famed NYC food cart was met with plenty of enthusiasm and lines that wrapped around the building. Now, the chain is hoping that lightning strikes twice as it plans to open its second location in Dallas-Fort Worth.

A post to The Halal Guys’ Facebook page announces that the restaurant will open its doors at 746 Central Expressway later this month. It would appear that the chain is already prepping for big crowds on opening day, with plans to give away The Halal Guys branded swag (like t-shirts and hats) to the first 500 customers on opening day.

And if you’re a serious white sauce enthusiast, you might want to think about camping out and showing up super-early on opening day for a chance to win an entire month’s worth of free chicken & rice. No word yet on exactly how you can score that prize, but it might just be worth a few hours of your time.

The festivities kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, and then proceed with regular business hours. Notably, The Halal Guys will keep the doors open until 2 a.m., just in case you find yourself with a desperate craving after midnight.
