Dirk Nowitzki is a wonderful basketball player who is extremely tall and also very German. And, hopefully, Nowitzki can also be a super sandwich salesman; the Dallas Maverick has teamed up with Which Wich to sell sandwiches for a cause, reports D Magazine.
Which Wich — which (sorry) is based in Dallas — will sell six themed sandwiches in all. The Dirkwurst takes its inspiration from Nowitzki’s home country and features authentic German bratwurst links with Bavarian-style mustard. The 41 Club is Nowitzki’s favorite and pairs sliced chicken breast with bacon. There is also a vegetarian option — the Swishwich, which features avocado and sprouts. There’s even a take on the classic Cuban and a sandwich inspired by pizza, pepperoni and all.
The themed sandwiches are exclusive to Which Wich’s Dallas market and are available for the basketball season — which is also Nowitzki’s 20th season in the NBA. One buck from each sandwich sold will benefit The Dirk Nowitzki Foundation.
