The Austin-based taqueria is currently operating one location in Dallas at 1878 Sylvan Ave and announced plans to open a second city location in North Dallas back in April. The brand expects that location to open in winter of this year. Tacodeli expects to be slinging its dozens of taco options in Parkwood Village by the first quarter of 2018, and at Preston and W. Park by the second quarter of the year.
Tacodeli is a small Texas chain; in addition to the open Dallas spot, it’s operating five locations in Austin and a newly opened spot in Houston. Founder Robert Espinoza was born and raised in Mexico City and logged time as an apprentice chef in the Yucatan. Espinoza opened his first Tacodeli in Austin in 1999.
