Austin’s Hat Creek Burger Company is just about ready to make its Dallas-Fort Worth debut.
The chain’s first location is set to arrive at 3321 Custer Road in McKinney, the first of multiple outposts planned for the metroplex. Locations in Allen, Rowlett, and Dallas are set to follow, though no timeline for those openings has been announced just yet. As Eater reported back in May, the chain got its start in Austin as a food trailer, and has since expanded to five locations in the Capitol City.
As far as the food is concerned, Hat Creek’s door swing open at 7 a.m. to serve dishes like pancakes, breakfast tacos, and egg sandwiches, along with coffee from Austin’s Cuvee Roasters. Burgers are of the build-your-own variety, and can be customized with a variety of bun options, cheeses, and proteins. On the sweet side, decadent shakes are hand-spun in flavors like strawberry shortcake and banana pudding.
Hat Creek Burger Company arrives in McKinney on Monday, October 16. For the first week, the restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Normal business hours (7 a.m. to 9 p.m.) will start up in week two.
