Suburbanites will have to wait a little bit longer for this bounty of new restaurants

Just a few more weeks to wait for a fast-casual Ozersky from John Tesar

Originally expected to open in October, the debut of Plano food hall Legacy Hall has been pushed back at least a few weeks.

Back in September, a representative for Legacy Hall told Eater that Legacy Hall would make its debut on October 23. That date has since been changed twice, likely due to construction delays on the massive new space at 7800 Windrose Avenue, or perhaps it’s more difficult to organize the arrival of 30-plus new restaurants in such a short amount of time.

Since it was announced, the plans for Legacy Hall have changed dramatically. Originally, Chef Matt McCallister was working on a bao stand for the food hall, but that project is no longer happening. Instead, the Hall will be home to outposts of local favorites like Haute Sweets Patisserie, Berrynaked, and Glazed Donut Works, in addition to new restaurants like Chef John Tesar’s Knife Burger and Chef Uno Immanivong’s Red Stix Yakitori & Banh Mi.

The current projected opening date for Legacy Hall is November 6. If history is any indication, that will probably change again.
