Beer-centric restaurant and sports bar chain City Works must like Texas. After opening a location in Frisco in August, City Works just announced that a new outpost will open in Fort Worth on December 9.

It’s going to be located at The Shops at Clearfork, with General Manager (and Fort Worth native) Brandy Elstep and Executive Chef Andrew Ehrmantraut at the helm.

The 287-seat Fort Worth City Works location will clock in at 6,000 square feet, with 18 giant flat screens for game watches. As with the Frisco City Works, local beer will be spotlighted here. Of the 90 drafts on tap, 40% will be sourced from Dallas breweries like Martin House Brewing Co., Legal Draft Beer Co., Wild Acre Brewing Co. and HopFusion Ale Works.

The menu is designed with all those beers in mind, with bar fare like smoked wings, a short rib/brisket burger, shrimp tacos and Thai chicken wraps. Pork Benedicts and a meal of a bloody Mary will round out brunch. Want to check it all out in advance? Tickets for City Works’ soft opening charity event will be on sale at cityworksrestaurant.com.
