After opening Feed Company on Lower Greenville earlier this year, restaurateurs Sameer Patel and Patrick Bruce are plotting a new eatery called Leela’s Raw Bar.

The forthcoming seafood-obsessed spot is set to arrive at 1914 Greenville Avenue, in the space that formerly housed The Crown & Harp, according to a press release. It will be joined by an upstairs bar and lounge called Abv Establishment, which will offer a “sultrier” vibe (and plenty of cocktails) than the downstairs restaurant, complete with a cheetah-print staircase and giant chandelier.

As far as the food at Leela’s Raw Bar is concerned, diners can look forward to a selection of North American oysters that will be prepared at an oyster shucking station in the dining room, along with California-inspired seasonal dishes. Upstairs at Abv, classic cocktails and a variety of wines on tap will be on offer.

Patel and Bruce are currently raising funds via crowdfunding platform NextSeed to complete the restaurant, which is set to arrive in January 2018.
