The newest, chef-driven entry into Dallas's thriving — and seemingly never-ending — poké bowl scene just announced its opening date in Turtle Creek Village.
Jon Alexis — owner of TJ’s Seafood Market & Grill, Dallas’ best destination for fresh fish — and partners Ben and Eric Kusin will open Malibu Poke on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 3888 Oak Lawn, Suite 102.
Alexis and his team took a poke tour across the U.S. to try the country’s best bowls, and now they're about to unveil what Alexis is calling "the fishmonger’s poke."
The menu will include "classic" poke bowls, and a few signature bowls with ingredients like smoked bonito aioli, yellow curry, Japanese sancho pepper, asian pear, daikon, and marinated shitake mushrooms. There will be a build-your-own-bowl option.
The menu is betting hard on rosé (with still, sparkling and froze), along with craft beers, wine on tap, sake, kombucha, teas, and fresh juices. Order it all from a tech-based ordering system with self-serve kiosks.
