This week, Picolé Pops will bring its Brazilian-style popsicles to Oak Cliff.

Eater reported back in August that owner Adrian Lara was working on his take on the icy frozen treat, and now Picolé Pops is set to kick open the doors to its first location at 415 West Davis Street. Originally expected to open sometime in September, this is the first of two Dallas locations planned for Picolé Pops. A Deep Ellum outpost is also set to open in the coming months.

Lara’s Brazilian-style paletas are infused with alcohol and offered in three different varieties — fruity, creamy, and filled. The fruity pops are made with Brazilian fruits like acai and maracuya, creamy pops are flavored with coconut, dulce de leche, and pumpkin spice. Filled pops include the Chocolate Lover, a chocolate pop that’s stuffed with Nutella and dipped in crunchy chocolate.

Picolé Pops will quietly make its debut in Oak Cliff on Thursday, November 2. The shop will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Stay tuned for more details on Picolé Pops’ regular business hours.
