A ramen restaurant that’s expanding rapidly across the nation is opening up a location in Dallas. Jinya Ramen Bar, an Isakaya-style restaurant from founder Tomonori Takahashi, is headed to the new Water Street mixed-use development in Irving.
There are over 30 Jinya locations in the US and Canada, and five Jinya locations in Texas already, but this will be the first in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The new Jinya at Water Street is slated to open in early January, according to Dallas Culturemap.
Jinya Ramen Bar boast 14 ramen options on its menu, including the "Old Skool" with chicken broth and pork chashu; a spicy vegan ramen; and a ramen with a lobster wonton flavored with lobster sauce. There are also rice bowls and poke bowls and even tacos.
