Greenville Avenue Pizza Company
The spot that’s known for eyebrow-raising pizza toppings is not going to start 2021 without one more. Those who order pizza from the Greenville Avenue or Peavy locations on New Year’s Day can ask for free black-eyed peas added to their pizza for good luck.
Start a new New Year’s Eve tradition with a Thai-flavored spread from Asian Mint. The small, local chain is offering a la carte holiday specials — including Kao Soy Chicken, Curry Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice, Tamarind Shrimp and Matcha Parfaits — available for pre-order or ordered to-go same-day in addition to the regular menu. Asian Mint locations will be closed New Year’s Day but will be open until 9:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
Pinstripes Fort Worth
The the Ft. Worth bowling and dining destination is happily offering an option for guests to get their holiday meals to-go by way of a festive Holiday Catering Menu which can be ordered by calling 682-352-0905 or ordering online, with curbside pick-up available. Selections are sharable, with turkey, ham, short rib and prime rib available, as well as traditional sides, dessert platters and salads that all serve six to eight.
Flying Saucer Addison, Ft. Worth & “The Lake”
All three Flying Saucer locations are offering $35 New Year’s Eve to-go packages that feed two to three. These include The Hungry Farmer Meat and Cheese Board, a 6-pack of beers in cans or bottles, New Year’s Eve party favors with upgrades available for additional people. Miriam Cocina Latina
Say good bye to 2020 with a $55 four-course prix fixe menu from Miriam herself, available curbside, along with a Casa Noble margarita kit starting at $40. Selections from the menu include Mahi Mahi filet with champagne lobster cream sauce and coconut rice, and chocolate cake with chipotle pepper and vanilla cream. TJ’s Preston Royal or Oak Lawn
Open on New Year’s Eve, TJ’s Seafood Market has a special Holiday menu that includes everything from ready-to-eat seafood and perfect-for-New Year’s Eve caviar to more seared tuna and mini lobster roll platters. Barbecue makes for excellent comfort food, and Hutchins up in McKinney and Frisco is shipping their famous authentic Texas brisket, sausage, rubs and sauces anywhere in the U.S., so maybe consider shipping some to family you can’t be with over the holidays this year while you’re at it. Another barbecue joint open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day is Terry Black’s in Deep Ellum. Preorder a holiday or family pack 48 hours in advance, or pick up a $2 beer or $2 frozen margarita while you snake through the line before wrapping up your order of smoked meats, homestyle sides and banana pudding to-go. Terry Black’s also ships via Goldbelly, so friends and family outside Dallas and Austin can experience authentic Texas barbecue for themselves.

The stylish Victory Park gastropub is offering special menus on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day with selections including Prime Rib, Black-Eyed Peas, and Collard Greens, in addition to their seasonal drink specials including their bottled Chef’s Boozy Nog (featuring five types of liquor for $45) as well as their $40 Bagel Box featuring a half-dozen of Lenore’s Handmade Bagel Co. bagels plus house-smoked salmon, cream cheese, and more.
With locations in Uptown and Plano, Sixty Vines is offering a New Year’s Eve celebration package (which they’re calling their Sip, Sparkle, Pop kit) for preorder. For $150, the menu feeds two and includes salami and cheese, filets with grilled shrimp, choice of side and deviled affogato. The package includes a 375-milliliter bottle of Luc Belaire Rosé (Provence-Alpes-Cote de Azur), a 375-milliliter Taittinger “La Francaise” Brut (Reims), rosé colored glasses, a confetti popper, sparklers and a link to a Sixty Vines NYE playlist on Spotify.
