Dallas has no shortage of good chocolate shops, but a new purveyor of champagne-flavored gummy bears and single malt Scotch cordials will soon seriously step up the city’s candy game.

CultureMap reports that Sugarfina, the California-based chain known for its fancy confections, will open its first standalone store in Dallas at NorthPark Center. At present, Dallasites can only score a small selection of the candies at Highland Park Village’s Market, but the new shop will bring Sugarfina’s full bounty of upscale treats that are decidedly for adults.

For the unfamiliar, Sugarfina is known for its meticulously made and ridiculously pretty candy, either imported from Europe and Japan or made in the United States. In addition to those aforementioned boozy gummies and Scotch cordials, you’ll also find fish-shaped sea salt licorice, berry-flavored (and pie shaped!) marshmallows, and other ritzy treats.

Most notably, Sugarfina is known for its selection of free in-store samples, which means that you’ll be able to try the pricey wares before investing in a bunch of candy you won’t like. No opening date has yet been announced for Sugarfina’s first Dallas boutique, but stay tuned for more details on when it will make its debut.
