T. Blanco’s Brings Healthier Tex-Mex Fare & Margaritas To Addison

Can you ever have too much Mexican food? Probably not.

Margaritas galore
T. Blanco’s Mexican Cantina

As if there was a shortage of Tex-Mex cuisine in Dallas-Fort Worth, and especially the suburbs, a new restaurant will make its way from East Texas to Addison early next week to bring even more sand to the desert.

Announced via release, the new cantina will open its doors at the old Sambuca spot in Addison at 15207 Addison Road, bringing yet another Tex-Mex option (and plenty of margaritas) to the ‘burbs. The restaurant is a project of East Texas restaurateur Thomas White and his business partner sons, who operate T. Blanco’s Mexican Café in Lakeport.

When T. Blanco’s is officially open, it will serve margaritas (obviously), fajitas, and an avocado butter steak. The restaurant also claims to serve up a healthier spin on traditional Tex-Mex fare, which means that diners will have to look elsewhere for delightfully greasy tacos and lard-spiked refried beans.

T. Blanco’s is set to make its debut on February 22 with an opening party (complete with free margs) that will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
