Now in its twelfth year, Dallas Morning News food festival Savor Dallas has announced its line-up of events, chefs, and seminars for 2017.
The guts of the event are relatively similar to last year; the Grand Tasting event will be held in Centennial Hall at Fair Park again, featuring more than fifty chefs plus plenty of booze to sample. In addition to the tasting, you’ll also be able to score tickets for hands-on seminars featuring some of Dallas’ best chefs.
Dude, Sweet Chocolate’s Katherine Clapner, 18th & Vine’s pitmaster Matt Dallman, and Rapscallion’s Nathan Tate will host “Cue It Up,” where attendees will enjoy meats smoked by some of the city’s finest chefs and pitmasters. A cocktail event called Shaken & Stirred will feature libations from Happiest Hour and other local bars, and chefs Graham Dodds, Misti Norris, and Lucia’s David Uygur will be providing charcuterie to accompany the drinks.
Savor Dallas will be from April 6th — April 9th. Tickets are available now on the event’s website; prices range between $55 and $65 for the seminars, and tickets for the Grand Tasting go for between $125 and $225.
