For those that work and live near Baylor Hospital just east of Downtown Dallas, excellent dining options can be a little scarce. Soon, though, a Bishop Arts export will bring pastry, espresso drinks, and more to the neighborhood.
CultureMap reports that Espumoso Caffé will open its doors at 3417 Gaston Ave in the very near future. This is the third outpost for Espumoso, which opened its second location in the Plaza of the Americas last year, and will bring “quick, cheap fare” to the neighborhood, including acai bowls and most excitingly, freshly-baked empanadas stuffed with sweet fillings like arequipe (dulce de leche) & cream cheese and savory options like ham & cheese.
As far as the coffee is concerned, Espumoso serves up a menu of caffeinated classics, like Americanos and lattes made with Illy espresso. You’ll also find Mexican-spiced hot chocolate, smoothies, boba teas, and frozen frappes.
No opening date has yet been set for Espumoso Caffe’s third outpost.
