At the end of a long day, it can be difficult to decide whether or not you need a little more caffeine to power through, or a drink to just forget it all. Fortunately, at Fort Worth’s newest coffee shop, you’ll be able to do both.
Announced via release, MTRD Hospitality will open their new boozed-up coffeehouse this April in Fort Worth’s West 7th neighborhood. During the day, Ampersand will be primarily a coffee house, featuring local coffees and a few select coffee cocktails. At night, they’ll bring out a unique bar menu with tons of coffee infused cocktails.
Some of these cocktails, like the Cold Fashioned and the Ampersand Mule, offer caffeinated twists on classic drinks. Others are completely unique, like the Amy Winehouse, a wine milkshake with vanilla-infused vodka. Ampersand will also offer a selection of beers and wines for those less willing to mix their morning and evening vices.
There’s no official date yet for when you’ll be able to start getting your caffeine and liquor buzz on at Ampersand. But when it does open, you’ll be able to score caffeine starting at 7 a.m., and the booze will be flowing until 2 a.m.
