Dallas health nuts have had a pretty solid few years. Healthy restaurants have been popping up like weeds in the garden of the city’s barbecue and burger bounty.
Soon, True Food Kitchen sister restaurant Flower Child will join the ever-growing list of spots to grab quick & good-for-you grub. Announced via release, Flower Child is set to bring its “conveniently nutritious” fare to Inwood Village at 5450 West Lovers Lane at some point next month.
The Arizona-based eatery first opened its doors in Phoenix in 2015, and has since expanded to six locations across the country. The outpost at Inwood Village is the chain’s first Texas restaurant, and will serve up a menu of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan fare. Look forward to dishes like the Flying Avocado, a pita wrap stuffed with smoked turkey, gouda, and avocado hummus, and the Mother Earth, a bowl of ancient grains, sweet potato, mushrooms, and more veggies tossed in broccoli pesto and red pepper-miso vinaigrette.
This “modern bohemian” spot — complete with a special spot to park your yoga mat — has not yet set an official opening date, but when it does debut, look for it to be open daily from 11 AM to 9 PM.
