Potentially the least boring salads in the metroplex

In case you need a hefty dose of nutrition with a side of trendy flavors, behold Flower Child. The True Food Kitchen sister eatery opened its doors today, and Eater’s got a peek at the menu so that every Dallas health freak can plan their visits.

The menu features several ways to munch on good-for-you bites: salads, vegetable and grain sides, bowls, wraps, and more. Entrees range from $8 - $13 and the mix and match sides are $4 each, making it totally possible to eat well on the cheap. Flower Child also offers kombucha, tea, wine, and local beer to wash down all that quinoa.

Flower Child is vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free friendly, plus the entire menu is super unique and fresh. Vegans and GF diners can try the spicy Japanese eggplant side with Thai basil & cashew, for example. Meat eaters won’t be disappointed, either – add on a portion of grass-fed steak to your meal or take a bite out of the Flying Avocado wrap, featuring smoked turkey and gouda cheese.

Swing by Flower Child for the bohemian vibes and loads of avocado at 5450 West Lovers Lane, open daily from 11 AM to 9 PM.
