Dallas isn’t the kind of place to turn down a new taqueria, especially when there’s an attached bar. Cedar Springs will soon welcome a brand new, late-night taco stand, plus a cantina with fully stocked liquor shelves. Yes, please.

D Magazine reports that Quesa owners Fransisco and Patricia Cabrera have teamed up with Dallas barman and restaurateur Michael Martensen to breathe new life into the space with two new concepts: Q Tacos and Machos Cantina to 3900 Cedar Springs. Both will operate inside Quesa, which will remain open, and feature tacos for less than $4 available until 4 a.m. (on Fridays and Saturdays).

To create the new taco stand’s menu, Martensen tapped Proof + Pantry executive chef Nick Hurry. Diners can look forward to tacos stuffed with trompo-style pork and barbacoa alongside traditional and Tex-Mex sides like elotes and queso. The cantina will feature mezcals, tequilas, and rums. Confusingly, they will not be serving a frozen margarita, but they will serve a frozen vodka Red Bull.

Q Tacos and Machos Cantina are set to open at 3900 Oak Lawn within the next two weeks. Q Tacos will be open for lunch daily and the cantina will open around 4 p.m.
