Dallas has more burger options than one could possibly count, but that isn’t stopping a Southern California favorite from making its way to the metroplex.

A spokesperson for Slater’s 50/50 tells Eater that the Huntington Beach, CA based chain will open its doors at 2817 Greenville Avenue later this spring. The Dallas outpost is the chain’s first foray into Texas, joining six locations scattered across Southern California.

The burger joint is known for its namesake patty, which is made with a blend of 50% beef and 50% bacon. The entire menu at Slater’s 50/50 is pretty pork-focused, evidenced by the appearance of bacon in everything from desserts (bacon brownies) to cocktails (a bacon-infused Old Fashioned).

Diners can look forward to a selection of over-the-top burgers, like the Peanut Butter and Jealousy, topped with PB&J and (of course) bacon. If the menu options don’t suit your burger needs, the restaurant also purportedly offers up more than a million different protein, bun, and topping options for building the perfect burger from the ground up. A dedicated “beer monger” will serve up a selection of 50 craft brews on tap, alongside a full cocktail menu.

Slater’s 50/50 is set to make its debut in May 2017.
