Victory Park Is Beefing Up its Food/Drink Offerings

Here’s hoping local purveyors help change the Victory Park vibe.

Victory Park — the downtown mixed-use property adjacent to the American Airlines center — is getting some new local-hero blood. Three new food/drink concepts are coming to the spot, with plans for each to open later this year.

Brooke Humphries (of Barcadia, Beauty Bar and It’ll Do Club, among others) is behind two of the spots — a bar and tavern that will be located within the Victory Avenue parking garage, and a large restaurant/entertainment spot along with 8020 Hospitality. This & That Concepts (the folks behind High Fives and So & So’s) are also opening a spot — a restaurant/bar with a second-floor covered patio overlooking Victory Plaza and Victory Park Lane.

As per a release, these new restaurants/bars — helmed by well-known operators on the scene — are all part of a plan to make Victory Park “into a more authentic, walkable and soulful urban neighborhood.” The new additions come along with forthcoming spots from Tristan Simon and a luxury movie theater.
