Peruvian fare hits West Village

Eater Dallas has just gotten word that the second location of Nazca Kitchen, in West Village, will open this Friday, April 14th. Signage for this expansion went up in August of last year. The new Nazca is opening at 3700 McKinney Ave — the corner of Cityplace West and Noble Street. Nazca’s first location in Walnut Hill, which is known for a lighter take on traditional Peruvian food, happily isn’t going anywhere.

Chef Julia Lopez, of La Duni Latin Cafe has been brought on as consulting chef, in charge of training and new recipe development. But! Though those who loved the menu at the original location appear to have plenty to be stoked about with the second — Nazca’s ceviche, empanadas, acai bowls and roasted half chicken trademarks all naturally made the menu.

The new uptown spot will be open daily, with brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. This location also features a sizable bar and patio seating.
