Despite being a truly boring place to dine in years past, Victory Park is currently seeing a restaurant renaissance. A slew of new restaurants have or will soon open in the area, and now a local Tex-Mex favorite is joining the neighborhood.

Announced via release, restaurateur Mico Rodriguez will bring open a flagship location of his restaurant Mesero at Victory Park next year. Details on where exactly the restaurant will open in Victory Park are scarce for now, but it’s clear that Rodriguez has big plans for his upscale Mexican eatery’s fourth Dallas-area location.

Mesero will join a saloon called Rebees from restaurateur Tristan Simon, along with as-yet-unnamed concepts from the minds behind Barcadia, So & So’s, and HG Sply Co. Those restaurants are expected to make their debut in late 2017, along with a ton of new retail tenants that will soon bring new life (or at least people, anyway) to Victory Park.

Mesero is expected to arrive in “early 2018.” Stay tuned for more details on a concrete opening date.
