Originally expected to open its doors next month, much-anticipated Italian restaurant North Italia won’t be ready to debut until June.
Announced via release, construction is currently underway on the restaurant’s first DFW outpost, which will arrive at Legacy West in June. In addition to a 6,500 square foot dining room, the restaurant will feature a 1,500 square foot patio and an “exhibition kitchen” that overlooks the dining room. Clearly, Fox Restaurant Concepts is planning to take over Legacy West, as North Italia will open just a stone’s throw away from its sister eatery True Food Kitchen.
North Italia has already opened restaurants in Austin and Houston, the latter of which is a favorite of frequent Houston visitor Aubrey “Drake” Graham. In addition to the Plano restaurant, a second Dallas outpost is expected to open early next year in Uptown at The Union.
The restaurant will open its doors at Legacy West on June 27. That is, of course, assuming that the date doesn’t get pushed back again.
