Comedian Jeff Dunham is now host of his very own Food Network show, and the Dallas native will show off his hometown on an upcoming episode of Incredible Edible America With The Dunhams.

Dallas will get a little shine in the food TV spotlight next month when Dunham will “discover some of the most outrageous dishes Texas has to offer” at a few local restaurants. Full details on where Dunham will stop have not yet been released, but he will definitely make visits to North Dallas’ Maple Leaf Cafe, Cattleack Barbeque, and Chef Tim Love’s Woodshed Smokehouse in Fort Worth.

Even if you don’t necessarily think that Dunham’s jokes are very funny, there’s no denying that he chose a few solid spots to showcase. Maple Leaf Diner appeared on Food Network prior to its Dallas arrival, and Cattleack’s awe-inspiring lines indicate that Dunham is on to something when it comes to finding local eateries that will play well on the silver screen.

The “Deliciously Dallas” episode of Incredible Edible America With The Dunhams will air on Monday, June 26 at 9 p.m.
