Berrynaked’s Icy Treats & Smoothie Bowls Invade the ‘Burbs This Summer

Later this summer, Inwood Village popsicle shop will bring its chilly (and arguably healthy) treats to two Dallas suburbs.

First up is Richardson, where Berrynaked will open its doors in the Canyon Creek Shopping Center at 326 West Campbell Road. Notably, the Richardson outpost will be the first Berrynaked to offer table seating and free WiFi, making it an alternative to packed coffee shops.

A few months later, the shop will bring its pops to the piping hot Legacy Hall, which is set to open its doors at some point in September. It’s the first expansion for the frozen treat shop, which originally opened its doors at Inwood Village in 2015. Berrynaked has since earned a dedicated following for its eco-friendly pops, some of which offer purported health benefits, all made with organic ingredients and served in compostable wrappers.

At the new locations in Plano and Richardson, Berrynaked will introduce uber-trendy “puree bowls,” also known as smoothie bowls. The “Soulful” bowls will offer up a punch of nutrients (thanks to ingredients like hemp hearts, bee pollen, and protein powder), while “Sinful” bowls will be more dessert-y, in flavors like avocado coconut and strawberry crème.

Berrynaked will debut at Canyon Creek Shopping Center in Richardson on June 17.
