Later this month, the minds behind Richardson’s OMG Tacos will debut Sweet Daze, a new bakery and ice cream shop that will offer some of the city’s most Instagrammable desserts.

Sweet Daze owner Holly Nguyen tells Eater that the new spot for doughnuts and ice cream is putting the final touches on its space at 581 W. Campbell Road in Richardson, with plans to open later this month. In the weeks leading up to the opening, Sweet Daze has been featuring forthcoming menu items, like unicorn and galaxy doughnuts and black ice cream.

As such, this spot will definitely be a destination for Dallas’ Instagram stars, especially for those galaxy doughnuts. The shop will also be the first in Dallas to offer black ice cream, dyed with activated charcoal, on its regular menu. Chills 360 in Deep Ellum was technically the first, but that offering was only available for a limited time. Whether or not you should actually eat it is another question entirely.

Sweet Daze is tentatively scheduled to host its grand opening on June 24, but enthusiastic doughnut fans can score a taste when the shop quietly kicks open the doors tomorrow at 3 p.m. Doughnuts will be available until they sell out.
