Visitors to Frisco’s The Star can get a first taste of what’s to come when Cane Rosso and their partner-in-crime Cow Tipping Creamery open their respective doors next week.

As Eater reported yesterday, Cane Rosso’s new location will sport a giant Cowboys helmet-shaped wood-fire pizza oven as the centerpiece of the dining room, just in case diners forget where they are. The décor keeps up the home team hype with navy blue seating, crystal chandeliers and paintings by local artist Clay Stinnett.

The gourmet pizzeria will bring its menu of classic pies, including the beloved Zoli and its pastas and sandwiches, alongside a few Star-specific specials like fried calzones more suited to someone dining on the run. A star-shaped pie topped with arugula and heirloom tomatoes will also, naturally, be on offer. As far as the booze is concerned, drinkers can look forward to a menu of cocktails, wine, and local brews.

Cane Rosso’s sister ice cream spot Cow Tipping Creamery will bring its soft serve ice cream to the party with layered “stacker” sundaes, rotating flavors of the week, shakes and Hong Kong-style bubble waffle cones.

Cane Rosso and Cow Tipping Creamery will open on Monday, July 31.
