Gather Kitchen starts serving up healthy, customizable bowls in Downtown Dallas’ Thanksgiving Tower next week.
The health-obsessed new eatery is a project from Soraya Spencer and Nicki Hamilton, and will serve up a variety of build-your-own bowls made with a variety of proteins and seasonally-appropriate produce. Each bowl is totally customizable, and starts with a base (zucchini noodles or rice, among other options), protein (beef, chicken, or falafel) and a variety of veggies. At the end, sauces like basil-cashew pesto and pepper sauce gild the lily.
The restaurant will serve up options to suit a variety of dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, paleo and Whole 30-approved dishes. Each ingredient is marked as “vegan” or “paleo” approved, making it easy to stick with whatever diet is all the rage at the moment.
Gather Kitchen kicks open the doors at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 21. The restaurant will be open until 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
