Next year, the team behind popular Denton eateries LSA Burger Co and Barley & Board will open a new restaurant that will serve up killer views of Little D.
The Radical Hospitality Group plans open a restaurant on the top floor of the Well Fargo building at 101 South Locust Street offering up a view of the iconic Denton Square that rivals its sister restaurant LSA Burger’s impressive rooftop patio.
The restaurant will be called The Sunago Bell. “Sunago” means “to get together” in Greek and, according to GuideLive, “Bell” is a shout-out to Jack Bell, the landlord who owns the building. The menu, once completed, will focus on seafood with Mediterranean influences.
The 5,500 square foot space, which is currently under construction, will feature an elevator to transport restaurant patrons and staff directly to the eighth floor on the east side of the building. Once finished, the restaurant will seat about 150 guests.
No official opening timeline has been announced yet, but Sunago Bell is expected to make its debut sometime next summer.
