Dallas and Houston Are the First Cities to Get TGI Fridays Alcohol Delivery

If this goes well, it rolls out nationwide

TGI Fridays hears the cries of everyone who wants a Fridays combo of wings, loaded potato skins, mozzarella sticks and a six pack, but is too lazy to leave the house. The chain is experimenting with alcohol delivery, and its first test market is Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston.

This is the first time a national restaurant brand is offering alcohol delivery, according to Dallas Culturemap. TGI Fridays is partnering with Dallas startup Lash to get this done, and if all goes well, a national rollout will happen in 2018.

Customers will have the option of adding alcohol to an order through the app or website. A Lash driver hits up a liquor store partner, then heads to Fridays for food so everything will be nice and hot when it arrives at the customers’ home. The ID check happens at the door, so don’t even think about it, high schoolers.
