Take note, caffeine enthusiasts: Austin-based chain Houndstooth Coffee has announced plans to open yet another DFW outpost at The Hill shopping center in North Dallas.
The coffee shop will open its doors at 9730 N. Central Expressway in the coming months, near new eco-friendly home store TreeHouse. It’s the third location for Houndstooth Coffee in DFW, joining outposts in West Dallas’ Sylvan Thirty and a location on Henderson Avenue. The chain also operates a cocktail bar, Jettison, adjacent to its Sylvan Thirty location.
The Houndstooth location at The Hill will be the first coffee shop in Texas to use a fancy Mavam espresso machine, which offers “greater visibility into the drink preparation process” for those coffee drinkers seriously interested in knowing how their Americano is made.
Houndstooth Coffee will hit The Hill in Fall 2017. No official opening date has been set just yet.
