Texan Melts, a comfort-food eatery offering grilled cheese sandwiches with a “Texan twist,” just joined the lineup of restaurants at the mixed-use CityLine development in Richardson.

The eatery at 1251 State Street joins the original outpost of Texan Melts in Fort Worth, and is now serving its full menu of grilled cheese sandwiches (including vegan cheese options) to Richardson sandwich enthusiasts. Alongside a variety of cheeses to choose from, diners can trick up their sandwiches with meats like brisket, pastrami, bacon, and turkey, alongside soups, salads, mac & cheese, and more.

The restaurant joins more than 30 eateries that have cropped up up at the CityLine development over the past year and a half, including an outpost of Jasper’s, pizza spot Coal Vines, Fernando’s Mexican Cuisine, and Super Chix. By the time the project is complete, CityLine will be home to 50 different dining and retail options alongside the nearby Aloft hotel, office buildings, and Whole Foods Market.

Texan Melt is officially open for regular business hours, Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
