Is there anything more beautiful than freshly-baked biscuits?

In the coming months, a restaurant that’s dedicated to the South’s favorite dinner accoutrement — biscuits — is set to open its doors in Plano.

The Biscuit Bar, a brand new eatery with a menu that focuses on its namesake, is set to arrive at TheBoardwalk at Granite Park in Plano sometime this spring. The restaurant will occupy upwards of 2,200 square feet at the growing development, serving “scratch-made” biscuits topped with egg, charcuterie, and more in a fast-casual format. The Biscuit Bar will also serve dessert biscuits, along with offering a full bar and cocktail menu.

At The Boardwalk, The Biscuit Bar will be joined by another new restaurant in B Frank & Relish. The interestingly-named new restaurant will include a patio in addition to its small dining room, on which diners can eat salads and bar snacks, drink beer, and sip wine. Another outpost of Dallas’ beloved Pearl Cup Coffee is also set to open at the development, along with a second location of Edith’s French Bistro. The latter will occupy a sprawling 7,600 square feet and serve a French-focused menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with freshly-baked pastries.

The Boardwalk at Granite Park has a growing dining scene. Earlier this month, newly-resurrected beer bar Union Bear opened there, and popular seafood spot Hookline has been attracting crowds since it opened its doors last year. The Biscuit Bar, Pearl Cup, and B Frank are set to arrive at the Plano development some point before summer sets in. Stay tuned for opening dates and more details on each restaurant.
