NYC-based chain The Halal Guys continues expanding at rapid clip in the Dallas area. The restaurant is beloved for its white-sauce-drenched chicken and beef gyro dishes with rice, and it is about to touch down with a new location in North Dallas.
Franchise owner Shezad Jiwani opened his first The Halal Guys location in Plano in 2017, and now he’s branching out again. Jiwani’s team will open up a shop in November at 3432 E Hebron Parkway, Suite 114 in Carrollton — that’s the shopping center fronted by Cristina’s Mexican and McCalisters Deli near LA Fitness.
Watch this space for more outposts in North Dallas. Jiwani told Eater: “We are also looking at real estate in McKinney, Allen, North Frisco, Southlake, and East Plano as well for another location in 2019.”
