Beloved Doughnut Shop Jarams Gets a Second Outpost In Lakewood Next Month

Beloved Dallas doughnut destination Jarams is set to open its second DFW location in Lakewood next month.

The shop will open at 2117 Abrams Road on December 1, not too far away from Whole Foods in Lakewood. The new outpost joins the original Preston Road location in North Dallas. There was also a short-lived Jarams location in McKinney, which closed its doors this year after opening in 2017. The new Lakewood shop is painted in vibrant purple and yellow, and a peek at the interior reveals a custom, hand-painted mural from Dallas artist Mariel Pohlman that features sea creatures and (of course) plenty of doughnuts.

For those unfamiliar with Jarams sweet treats, the shop is known for decadent doughnuts in flavors like honey-infused apple, creme brulee, and banana pudding funnel cake. Traditional doughnuts are on offer, along with other pastries like croissant doughnuts, s’mores, and croissants. Prices at Jarams range from a mere $0.70 all the way up to $5.99 a piece, depending on the type.

Jarams Donuts’s new location at 2117 Abrams Road will be making the donuts Mondays through Saturdays 6:00 a.m. to noon, and Sundays 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
