Chef/owner Tom Fleming of Dallas breakfast destination Crossroads Diner is branching out with a new food stall at Legacy Hall, and it’s going to be completely devoted to French dip sandwiches. Chez Dip will be a “killer French dip sandwich place,” Fleming told Escape Hatch Dallas, breaking the news about the new stall.
When Chez Dip opens on December 17, the menu is going to be limited to just two sandwiches: a classic roast beef French Dip baguette sandwich or a roast turkey version, each paired with either chips or Béarnaise potato salad. More menu items may be added later, but Fleming is going to stick with those two sandwiches with freshly roasted and sliced turkey or roast beef at the beginning.
Chez Dip will open in the Legacy Hall location previously occupied by chef Tim Byres’ Tight Quarters power bowl stall.
