Flower Child, the health-obsessed eatery from Fox Restaurant Concepts, will soon open its second DFW location in Addison. The restaurant is currently staffing up for a December opening, but no official date has been set just yet. The Addison outpost joins an Inwood Village location that opened in early 2017. — A new restaurant called Bison Bar and Grill will soon open on Ross Avenue in the space formerly occupied by flash-in-the-pan party bar Pretty Diver. As its name might indicate, the restaurant’s menu is focused on its namesake protein, with dishes like bison tacos and bison dumplings on the menu. Owner Tim Tremoni reportedly chose to focus on bison for this restaurant because it is lower in fat and less greasy than its beefy counterpart. No word yet on when Bison Bar and Grill will open. — A new restaurant called Alamo Club is in the works for the Lower Greenville space formerly occupied by the Blind Butcher. Chef Austin Rodgers, formerly of ritzy steakhouse Town Hearth, is currently working on revamping the space into a “casual neighborhood restaurant” that will serve comfort food dishes, late-night fare, and weekend brunch. Look for it to debut sometime early next year. [Escape Hatch Dallas]
