Bellagreen, a Houston export known for healthy eats, will open its second DFW location at the Shops at Legacy this week.

This new location at 5717 Legacy Drive will be the first Bellagreen in Plano after opening at The Hill in Dallas last month. It’s also the eighth location overall for the growing chain. The new 3,500-square-foot restaurant will feature an open kitchen, accommodating 92 diners indoors and another 36 on the outdoor patio. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are decorated with warm wood furniture and earth tones, and in keeping with the eco-friendly vibe, the restaurant uses water-saving devices and alternative power sources to reduce its carbon footprint.

As far as the food is concerned, Bellagreen offers an extensive menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, burger, tacos, pizza, pasta, and more made with organic ingredients. Most dishes can be ordered gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian, and proteins are sourced locally or from purveyors that follow sustainable seafood sourcing guidelines. Notable menu items include the honey fried goat cheese & arugula salad, Bellagreen’s signature brick chicken, and seasonal paleo spaghetti squash bolognese.

Bellagreen’s Shops at Legacy location opens on December 14 and will operate Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with brunch service until 2:30.
