Beloved Knox-Henderson nightlife spot Beauty Bar will soon have a new home.
According to an alcohol permit application filed with TABC, owner Brooke Humphries will relocate Beauty Bar to the insanely bustling Deep Ellum district at 2805 Main Street in the spot directly next door to Stirr. Beauty Bar’s current location at 1924 N Henderson Avenue will be torn down in about five months, Humphries tells Eater, presumably to make way for new development.
It’s been a busy year for Humphries, who opened a country honky tonk in Deep Ellum this summer, and reportedly is planning two additional projects for the revitalization of Victory Park, including her own bar and a 24,000-square-foot restaurant and entertainment destination in collaboration with Lowest Greenville heavyweight Elias Pope of HG Sply Co. In addition to Beauty Bar, Humphries is also the founder-operator of other incredibly popular Dallas haunts like Mudsmith, Pints & Quarts, Barcadia, and It’ll Do.
Eater has reached out to Humphries for more details on her forthcoming projects. Stay tuned for that information.
