Magical Dessert Bar, a new Deep Ellum destination for desserts that are intended to look pretty on Instagram, has officially opened its doors.
The shop debuted on December 1 at 2646 Elm Street in a space adjacent to its equally dessert-obsessed sibling Chills 360, according to CultureMap. The shop’s decor is the definition of modern twee, thanks to plenty of millennial pink accents and a unicorn mural painted on the wall. To be sure, Magical Dessert Bar will become a popular selfie backdrop in the neighborhood.
As far as the sweets are concerned, diners can look forward to a menu of sugary options that ranges from cake pops that look like unicorns (complete with a gilded horn!) and bright pink hot chocolate to cakes and macarons. Milkshakes can be topped with entire slices of three-layer cake, sprinkles, or a halo of cotton candy.
Sugar junkies can now swing by Magical Dessert Bar Sunday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
