Chip and Joanna Gaines, stars of HGTV’s massively-popular Fixer Upper, have opened their restaurant Magnolia Table in Waco.
The restaurant, located at 2132 South Valley Mills Drive in Waco, officially kicks open the doors today, according to the Dallas Morning News. The restaurant will take over the space occupied for years by Elite Cafe, a classic Waco eatery that inspires a few dishes on the Magnolia Table menu.
In addition to classic breakfast plates like eggs Benedict and French toast, Joanna Gaines’ buttermilk biscuits will also be on offer, and, of course, avocado toast. Lunch options include sandwiches like the 1919 pimento cheese sandwich, a nod to the Elite Cafe classic, soups, salads, and a burger round out the offerings. According to the menu, “select” ingredients are grown in Joanna’s garden.
The Gaines’ told People earlier this month that the restaurant is so “breakfast-focused” because Chip Gaines is a self-described “breakfast connoisseur.” In addition to Magnolia Table, the couple also operates a bakery called Silos Baking Company at their Magnolia Market at the Silos development, where fans flock to eat cupcakes and buy pillows and other home decor designed by Gaines.
Magnolia Table is now open for breakfast and lunch from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
